Card Cost Optimization
Monster Cards (80 Points): The heavy hitters of your deck. While expensive, they're often essential for late-game power. Use the Save Data Calculator to determine if you can afford multiple Monsters or need to focus on just one or two.
Neutral Cards (20 Points): The backbone of any strategy. Cheap base cost makes them attractive, but remember that upgrades add up quickly. Track each Epiphany carefully.
Forbidden Cards (20 Points): Powerful but dangerous. Use the calculator to evaluate if the risk-reward ratio justifies the Save Data investment.
The Epiphany Trap
A Divine Epiphany adds +20 points on top of the base Epiphany (+10), for a total of +30 from upgrades. This means a fully upgraded Neutral card costs 50 Save Data (20 base + 10 Epiphany + 20 Divine)—more than half of a Monster card! Many players fall into this trap, upgrading cards without calculating the total impact.
Use the Save Data Calculator to model different upgrade paths. Sometimes, leaving a card at basic Epiphany level frees up enough points to include another powerful card entirely. Run the numbers before committing your resources.
Tier-Based Planning

First Removal: FREE (if not base card) Your first card removal is free, but only if it's not one of your 8 starting base cards. Base cards cost +20 extra to remove.
Removal & Conversion Costs
Removal Costs: 0 → 10 → 30 → 50 → 70... (+20 for each additional removal). Add +20 extra if removing a base card.
Duplication Costs: 0 → 10 → 30 → 50 → 70... (+20 for each additional duplication). Copies retain all Epiphanies from the original.
Conversion Strategy: Converting costs 10 points (usually done on base cards to avoid the +20 removal penalty). Smart conversions can save significant Save Data.
